Ranskan pääkaupunki ei juuri esittelyjä kaipaa. Heinäkuussa 2007 vietin siellä viitisen yötä, ja suurimmat nähtävyydet Riemukaaresta Notre Dameen tuli luonnollisesti käytyä läpi. Louvren lukemattomissa saleissa olisi riittänyt tutkittavaa viikoiksi, Eiffel-tornin loputtomat portaat laittoivat pään pyörälle ja Montmartre kuhisi elämää. Mutta antaa vanhan kameran kohisevien kuvien puhua puolestaan!

The French capital needs no introductions. I spent about 5 nights there in July 2007 and saw all the main attractions from Arc de Triomphe to Notre Dame. Montmartre was bursting with life, I could've spent weeks studying the great halls of the Louvre and maybe even more walking the stairs of the Eiffel Tower. But now, let the old grainy pictures speak for themselves! |
